Cone seems to be fine from this angle, what do you think. I saw this same unit minus the cabinet on ebay for 5,999.00.

Beautiful 604 ! FWIW Sellers can list them at any price, if it doesn't sell then it isn't worth it.I seen that I think.It was a RWB Altec from Australia IIRC. IMO that will never sell at that price.The fact that you have an original 605 Altec cabinet with yours makes yours more Valuable IMO.. The RWB's tend to bring more money though for the most part.

You lost me? How did you get RWB from it? I see a Black and gold label? not a Red White and Blue? Never mind I figured it out, you were referring to the one for 6 grand, yeah like that's ever gonna sell. And if it's this P.O.S. It's not gonna get half that price because it's been reconed with an E cone with an accordion surround!!!

Just because you saw it doesn't mean somebody paid that. Not that somebody wouldn't pay that but how long it will take to find somebody willing to pay that would be the question. There's a few sharks on Ebay just waiting for the right chum to come along.
